Alison Craker Howard, age 59, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on January 10. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jason Howard, her father, Arthur Craker of Louisville, KY, Stepfather Allan Parker and sister Kristen Parker.
She is survived by her mother, Donna Parker, Valparaiso brothers Arthur Craker (Ellen) of Hebron, IL, Allan Parker (Hilda) of Virginia Beach, VA, Jonathan JP Parker, Valparaiso and Justin Parker, Valparaiso, and her closest friends from the Church of Latter-day Saints, Valparaiso who were always kind, loyal, supportive, and understanding.
She was a talented cook and baker and was always happy when she shared her food with friends and family.
She was a strong advocate of Mental Health education and shared her personal struggles about this. She faced her struggles with bravery, endurance, hope, and sometimes, humor. Her greatest wish was for everyone to have a better understanding of mental illness.
