Baby Spencer Drew Jacobsen was born sleeping on August 19, 2026. Spencer was the deeply treasured and longed for baby of Kaysey Jensen and Michael Jacobsen. Spencer will be forever remembered and loved by his parents, Kaysey and Michael; his brothers, Caden and Theodor; as well as his six grandparents, six aunts and uncles, and eight cousins. Waiting for him in Heaven are his maternal grandparents: Barbara and Donald Hughes, and Judy and Dan Jensen; paternal grandmother, Geraldine Jacobsen; and paternal aunt, Ruth Gindl.
When a child is too perfect for Earth, the Lord takes them into his arms and holds them tight until we can be reunited together in Heaven. It broke our hearts to lose Spencer, but it brings us comfort to know that we will see him again one day. Until then, we will remember him, love him, and miss him every day.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Road, Valparaiso, IN, with a service of remembrance beginning at 12:00 p.m., Pastor Mitch Tabla officiating. The family welcomes flowers.

Sweet baby Spencer, Although we wish with all our hearts that we could have watched you grow, laughed with you,, and gotten to know the little person you would become, we are so grateful that you were here. Your life was far too short, but you were loved every second of it. You will always be a part of your family. You will always be Caden and Theo’s little brother, and you will forever hold a place in your mommy and daddy’s hearts that nothing and no one could ever replace.
