Cynthia Mary Frederick, 70 of Valparaiso, passed away Monday, June 22, 2026. She was born on April 8, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of the late Robert and Darlene (Wagner) McGrath. Cynthia was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, who was always putting others first and made sure her family was cared for.
On May 25, 1974, Cynthia married Robert F. Frederick, Sr. who survives along with their children, Theresa Augle and Bobby (Jenny) Frederick, Jr.; grandchildren, Nicholas, Cole, and Jack Augle; great grandchildren, Delilah and Waylon Augle; and siblings, Cheryl (Jim) Galek, Debbie (Steve) Morgenthaler, and Bob McGrath.
Following cremation at Angelcrest Crematory, a Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.
