Darleen Marie Molitoris, age 87, of St. Johns, Florida peacefully passed away on July 30, 2026.
Darleen possessed the rare gift of making those around her feel special. Rather than speaking about herself, she listened with genuine compassion, offering encouragement and comfort to those who crossed her path. Her gentle presence brought peace to many lives. Her wit brought laughter. Her beautiful smile will be remembered always, but even more enduring is the beautiful soul behind that smile.
As the devoted wife of a pastor, Darleen faithfully served alongside her husband throughout his years of ministry. She exemplified what it meant to be a pastor's wife—not through recognition or accolades, but through quiet acts of service, hospitality, steadfast prayer, and unwavering support for her family and church.
Darleen considered raising her three children to be her greatest accomplishment and life's calling. She poured herself into her family with unconditional love, sacrificial care, and steadfast devotion. The values she instilled—faith, integrity, kindness, perseverance, and love—continue to shape the lives of her family and those who were blessed to know her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph, her three children, Karen (Charles), Paul (Mahide) and Kathy (Mike), one grandchild Chris (Katelynn), and four great-grandchildren.
Though our hearts grieve her absence, we rejoice in the assurance of her eternal home with Jesus Christ. Her life was a beautiful testimony of faith lived quietly, love given generously, and service offered selflessly.

A traditional Lutheran Church service will be held in Middleburg, Florida in August with burial in Northwest Indiana.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12th from 10:30 – 11:00 am at Angelcrest Cemetery Chapel, 180 E. 600 N., Valparaiso, Indiana with funeral service beginning at 11:00 am and burial to follow. The recorded funeral service will be available here to watch.
