Edward Alfred Moe, 69 of Valparaiso, entered into glory with his loving Savior on August 22, 2026. He was born March 23, 1957 in Germany and was the son of the late, Doris Moe. Ed was a faithful employee for over 20 years at Advanced Financial Federal Credit Union. He was a member of the Valparaiso Nazarene Church and was a loyal Chicago Blackhawks fan. Above all else, Ed was a devoted husband, caring father, and a proud grandpa.
On March 19, 1977, Edward married Teresa Mollick who preceded him in death on March 29, 2013. He is survived by his children, Chris (Lorrie) Moe and April (Matthew) Kindschi; and his grandchildren, Logan, Ava, and Stella.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, with a Funeral Service beginning at 12:00 PM. Cremation will follow with a private burial of ashes at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Chicago Blackhawks Foundation or the Valparaiso Nazarene Church.

I worked with Ed for over three decades. He was my management assistant for much of that time. He had a quiet steadyness that brought calm to challenges we faced in the technology department. He was reliable, trustworthy, and valuable as an employee. As a man, he was a good listener, funny, and someone you could trust. I will miss my friend. My heart felt condolences to his family and their tragic loss. I find joy in his reuniting with his lovely wife Teresa, whom he sorely missed. Our hearts are broken with the passing of a great friend. Skip will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His passing happened so fast that we still can't believe it. He is with Teresa now who was also a great friend. Both were two wonderful people taken way too soon. We will remember the good times we all had together for as long as we are here on this Earth.
