Kristine M. DeYoung, 73 of Valparaiso, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2026. She was born on February 19, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois to the late James and Bernadean (Parsons) DeYoung. Kristine made her career as a chemical technician with NIPSCO. She enjoyed quilting, bird watching, serving as a volunteer, and was a book group leader at the YMCA. Kristine is survived by her sister, Rosalie DeYoung.
In accordance with Kristine’s wishes, cremation will take place with no services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Christian Food Pantry in care of the First Christian Church 1507 Glendale Blvd. Valparaiso, Indiana 46383.
