Michele Lynne Brown, 55 of Valparaiso, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2026. She was born on April 5, 1971 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of James and Marie (Turner) Brown, Michele graduated from Homewood Flossmoor High School and went on to earn her bachelor's degree from Chicago State University. Over the years she worked in many capacities such as selling real estate, as an insurance agent, and even as a special education teacher. Most recently, she was using her gifts as a caregiver in the home care industry.
Michele is survived by her loving brothers, James Brown and Edward Woodard; her uncle Elliot Peterson; and a host of extended family and friends .She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Joseph Brown. Such a warm-hearted soul. Our sister will be greatly missed! However, her spirit will live on eternally!
Following cremation, a private Celebration of Life will be held with a gathering for friends and family to be announced at a later date.
