In Loving Memory of Patricia Claire McKeny
Patricia McKeny, 72, a wonderful mother, grandmother, friend and daughter of Christ, passed away on June 4th, 2026, in the comfort and care of her loving husband, Scott McKeny, at their home in Valparaiso, Indiana.
Born September 23rd, 1953, in Chicago Illinois, to John and Kathrine Carpenter. Married to Scott D McKeny on December 17th of 1977. She is survived by her two loving daughters, Erin K Crowel (McKeny) and Kristen E Green (McKeny), grandchildren Leah C Green and Alexander G Green.
Patricia was a bright and cheerful spirit. She loved watching birds and The Wheel of Fortune. She was an avid member of the Church of the Nazarene. She was adored by her family and friends and loved hosting family parties so that people came together for laughter and love.
In lieu of a funeral service; please consider sharing a special memory of her with her husband and children. Please consider a donation in Patricia’s memory to Alzheimer's Research instead of flowers.

So sorry to hear that Pat passed away. She was such a beautiful lady and babysat Lindsay who became good friends with Erin. Such a sweet personality and very caring of Scot, Erin, and Kristen. So sorry to hear that my beautiful, fun-loving, energetic friend from the 80's in Valparaiso, IN, has passed away. I knew Pat and Scott back when. We had a group of girls that ran and played had so much fun together. She and Scott even stood up when I got married the 2nd time! Those were some good times, and she was always ready to go! When I moved away, we tried to keep in touch. She loved her kids and grandkids, even sent some pictures sometimes. I know she is happy now in a better place. I spent many years worshiping & serving in many areas of the church at Washington EV Free Chursh. She was a joy to know, smiling, laughing & making life & serving Fun. She Loved Bible School & children. She was a good cook & could be counted in for a delicious covered dish & to help with clean up. Her smile would light up any room .
