Ronald Allen Buhmann, 67 of Valparaiso, passed away on July 12, 2026. He was born on March 21, 1959 in Fort Dix, New Jersey, the son of William F. and JoAnn (Paschal) Buhmann. A 1977 graduate of Portage High School, Ron worked as an accounting professional, owning his own tax business. In his younger years, he enjoyed preforming in productions at Memorial Opera House in Valparaiso.
Ronald is survived by his brother, Kevin L. (Sophie) Buhmann; sister-in-law, Connie Buhmann; nephews, Robert L. Buhmann, Benjamin A. Buhmann; and William C. “Billy” Buhmann; step nephews, Charles, Pat, James, and Joe Smith; and great nephews, Taylor and Trevor. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, William Chris Buhmann, Sr.
Cremation will take place at Angelcrest Crematory, and no services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Animal Shelter of your choice.
