Paul Thomas Clouser was born on February 13, 1940, in Elwood, Indiana to McAdoo (Mike) Clouser and Maxine Heflin Clouser. Tom was a graduate of Elwood High School Class of 1957 and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University in 1961. While at Purdue, he was a member of the Purdue Livestock Judging team. Tom's early career was as a Hog Buyer for different package plants, Division manager for Heinold Hog Market and later a Commodity Broker at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. While Tom and Susan resided in Tipton County, where their children grew up, Tom was a member of the Tipton County School Board. As a resident of Ogden Dunes for 35 years, he was a Town Board Councilman for 12 years.
Tom is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Susan Hilliard Clouser, children Brad (Rene) Clouser, Paul (Mary) Clouser, Jon (Michelle) Albright and Courtney Kendall, Grandchildren Andy, Angela, Ashlee, Courtney, Joe, Jacob, Logan and MacKenzie, Great grandchildren Crystin, Kendall, Karson, Valerie, Katelyn and Audrey and siblings Barb Yates, Diane (Jerry) Rode and Tim (Lou Ann) Clouser, his brother-in-law Tim Hilliard and sister-in-law Julie (Stan) Hopkins and many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents, son Chris Albright, sisters Patricia Rogers, Merrilee Rice and brother-in-law Tom Yates.
Visitation Noon-2pm, Memorial Service at 2pm, Saturday June 3rd at Ogden Dunes Community Church. Private Interment at Graceland Cemetery, Valpo, IN, to occur at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Ogden Dunes Church, Ogden Dunes Lions Club, or the Ogden Dunes Historical Society.
