Thomas J. Goodman, 72 of Chesterton, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023. He was born on March 16, 1951 in Gary, IN to the late JL Goodman and late Grace (Meyer) Buncich. He graduated from Lew Wallace High School and made his career as a Mechanical Engineer for Team Industrial Services, formerly Furmanite. Thomas enjoyed a good golf game, watching various sporting events, working meticulously on his yard, and spending time with his beloved dog, Bond.
On February 25, 1983, Thomas married Mary Ellen Komorkoski, who preceded him in death in 2022. He is survived by children, Breonne (Scott Huber) Goodman and Raymond (Katrina) Major; siblings: Sherry (Jay) Blevins, Robert Goodman, and Lisa (Lowell) Arnold; grandchildren: Madison Major, Mackenzie Major, Miranda Major, Marek Major, Mason Huber, and Katelyn Huber.
A private burial will take place at Angelcrest Cemetery.
