Pat L. Paschen, 88 of Ogden Dunes, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023. She was born October 4, 1934 in Fort Wayne, IN to Wayne L. and Elizabeth A. (Moore) Akey, Sr. Pat was a co-owner of Camp-Land RV with her husband, Al. She enjoyed playing bridge, antiquing, traveling, and wintering in Florida.
On June 10, 1952, Pat married Alfred Paschen who survives along with their children, Janice (John) Swardson, Neal (Debbie) Paschen, and Pamela (Donny) Argostino; daughter-in-law, Mary Paschen; grandchildren, Joshua, Jeffrey, Nathan, Travers, Hillary, and Lindsey; nine great grandchildren; siblings, Wayne (Pam) Akey, Jr., MaryAnn (Tom) Reinke, and Michael (Ann) Stemen; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, David M. Paschen; and sister, Betty Miller.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 3:00-7:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, with a Funeral Service on Thursday, July 20th at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
