Caroline J. Trumbo, 64, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. She was born August 31, 1959, in Gary, Indiana, and attended Wheeler High School where she was proud to be selected to represent the Bearcats as a cheerleader and excelled with her musical talents in the band. Caroline loved her children and grandchildren, but it was her faith in her best friend, Jesus, that encompassed her life of serving the Lord especially with worship music and prayer.
Survivors include her children; Natalie (Scott) Duerksen, Sabrina (Patrick) Smith & David (Megan) Trumbo, grandchildren; Soraya, Courtney, Brian, Amelia, Chase, D.J., Colton, Easton, Luke, Nolan & Miley, siblings; Ted Miller, Jackie (Ron) Green, Kathy (John) Oberholzer & Mariline (Steve) Peabody, and many loving nieces, nephews & friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Miller, mother, Jacqueline Miller O’Hearn, stepfather, James O’Hearn, and her brother, Chuck Miller.
A visitation will be held Saturday, January 27th from 11 am – 1 pm at Moeller Funeral Home, Valparaiso with memorial service beginning at 1:00 pm, Chaplain Jay Birky officiating.
