Grace E. Moore, 92 of Valparaiso, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024. She was born January 31, 1932 in Baltimore, MD to Evan H. and Grace E. (Albright) Ensor. A member of the First United Methodist Church of Valparaiso, Grace enjoyed volunteering at church, sewing, quilting, swimming, walking, and traveling.
On December 19, 1949 in Arlington, VA, Grace married Edward A. Moore, Jr. who preceded her in death in 2011. She is survived by her children, Sharon Alexander, Linda (Richard) Rugg, and William (Michelle “Mickey”) Moore; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Ashley) Rugg, Matthew Rugg, and Andreya and Heaven Moore; great grandchildren, Memphis, Dylan, Johnathan, and Eddie; and many nieces and nephews. Grace was also preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Larry, Elwood, Roger, and Raymond.
A Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 11:00-12:30 PM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, with a Funeral Service beginning at 12:30 PM. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the First United Methodist Church of Valparaiso or AseraCare Hospice.
