Robert S. Mroz, 66 of Valparaiso, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024. He was born December 8, 1957 in Gary, Indiana to the late, Edward and Evelyn (Laskowski) Mroz. Robert made his career as a carpenter and was known for his excellent work. When he wasn’t helping someone build or fix something, you would find him fishing and drinking beer to relax. Robert is survived by his daughters, Donna (Doug) Tipold and Crystal Mroz; grandchildren, Zacharie Erdelles and Bianca Hopper; and sister, Diane Skoutaris. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen (Andrus) Mroz.
Following cremation, the family will gather privately to remember Robert. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heart-to-Heart Hospice.
