Thomas Franklin Laudermilk, 72 of Valparaiso, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 26, 2024. He was born May 9, 1952, in Quincy, Massachusetts, to Roy Laudermilk and Carol Dobson. Tom made his career as a buyer for men’s sportswear with Marshall Fields.
Tom is survived by his mother, Carol Dobson of Valparaiso, Indiana; children: Katherine (Kiel) Johnson of Oregon and Matthew (Jessika) Laudermilk of California; and sisters: Melody Stiak of Valparaiso, Indiana and Sue (Thomas) Schultz of Chicago, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Laudermilk; brothers: James Laudermilk and Nathan Laudermilk; and brother-in-law, Rocky Stiak.
Per Tom’s wishes, no services will be held at this time.
