Margaret “Jill” Lambert, 91, of Valparaiso, IN passed away Monday, November 4, 2024. She was born August 6, 1933, in Catlettsburg, KY to Oren & Bertie Neely (Smith) Justice and graduated from Thomas Brown High School in Catlettsburg before attending the University of Kentucky. Jill remained a diehard Wildcats fan, enjoyed boating and water skiing especially on Lake Cumberland, and had been active in the Forest Park Women’s Golf League in younger years along with her Bridge group.
On April 30, 1954, she married Jack T. Lambert, who preceded her in death on July 6, 2008. Survivors include their children: Amy (Tom) Zimmerman of Valparaiso, Todd Lambert of Valparaiso & Walter (Tatyana) Lambert of Taylor, MI: grandchildren: Tommy Zimmerman, III, Taylor Zimmerman, Jennifer Lambert & Oren (Luciana) Lambert, and great-grandchildren: Hayden, John, Austin & Bianca. She was also preceded in death by her parents and three siblings: Paige, Roger & Oren.
Following cremation at Angelcrest Crematory a private family memorial service will be held.

Jill’s twinkly eyes and bright smile always welcomed us in their home. Even as teenagers, she loved us.. and we loved Jack and Jill!
