Krystyna Vanderver, 79 of Palos Hills, Illinois, passed away Friday, January 3, 2025. She was born September 20, 1945 in Rochatyn, Poland the daughter of Adam and Wladyslawa Hork. While living in Poland, Krystyna worked as a Polish Language teacher. She enjoyed staying in a quiet peaceful setting and was an avid reader.
Krystyna is survived by her son, Bart (Gitana) Bienkowski and was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Aldek Hork.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, with a Funeral Service beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Angelcrest Cemetery, Valparaiso.
