Linda Kay Clark, 66 of Valparaiso, IN, passed away Friday, January 10, 2025. She was born May 14, 1958, in Bristol, PA, to the late Donald and Jessie (Wakefield) Clark, Sr. Linda graduated from Valparaiso High School in 1976, and received her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Ball State University in 1980. She went on to make her career with K-Mart in Valparaiso as a Manager for 36 years, retiring in 2016. Linda attended Valparaiso Nazarene Church, and kept busy on the Inman’s Sunday Night Mix Bowling League, playing Bingo, and meeting up with her card club. In her youth, Linda was active as an athlete, playing volleyball, basketball, and softball. She loved to watch sports, especially supporting her great-nieces and nephews in their various sporting events. Linda had a heart of gold and was a selfless caregiver for her parents in their final years. She would jump at the opportunity to help anyone in need. Linda will be remembered for her outgoing personality and caring nature. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Linda is survived by her sister, Nancy (Michael) Reed of Anderson, IN; brothers: Donald (Rhonda) Clark, Jr. of Valparaiso, IN, and James (Lynn) Clark of Memphis, TN; nieces and nephews: Jeffery (Julia) Clark, Donald (Jackie) Clark III, Seth Clark, Clay Clark, Thomas (Tonya) Reed, and Emily (Jesse) Fortner; great nieces and nephews: Caleb, Tetiana, Cadynce, Donnie IV, Colbie, Damon, Amber, Gabbi, Noelle, and Jeanne; special friends: Kathy, JoAnne, Pearl, Melody, Mary, and Sue; and her beloved dog, Mollie. She was preceded in death by her parents; niece, Stacy Lynn Clark; and sister-in-law, Leslie Clark.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, IN, with a funeral service beginning at 3:00 p.m. Private burial at Graceland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Valparaiso Nazarene Church, 2702 E. Glendale Blvd., Valparaiso, IN 46383.

I knew Linda from our Tuesday night Bingo. She always had a smile and a kind word for me. I truly wish I had gotten to know her better. After reading her obituary I see we had so much in common.
