With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Brian Lee Carlson, 68, on February 17, 2025. He was born on October 3, 1956, in Valparaiso, and was the loving son of Kermit H. and Lillian (nee Eld) Carlson, who are now deceased. Brian was a graduate of Morgan Twp High School and Valparaiso University.
He had a love for music, movies, and baseball. Brian had an unwavering devotion to his family, and his legacy will live on through the love he gave to those closest to him. He was a faithful caregiver to his parents in their later years, ensuring their needs were met with patience and compassion. He enjoyed working on projects at the family home, helping to make it a welcoming place for loved ones and visitors. His kindness will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his sister, Rebecca Carlson (Larry) Reimann; Nephews, Joel (Carly) Reimann and John (Vikki Podlipni) Reimann; great-nephew, Frederik Reimann; and extended relatives living out of state.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation and cremation has taken place. A celebration of life service for close family and friends will be scheduled at a later date.
