Joseph T. Weglowski age 79 of Valparaiso Indiana passed away peacefully on April 7, 2025. Born on March 30, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois to Joseph and Helen Weglowski. Survived by his beloved wife Mary of 57 years. Loving father of daughters Christine (Gary) Degnegaard and Cathleen (Tony) Pietro. Four grandchildren Brandon Reid, Chance Degnegaard (Kelsey), Brett Pietro (Abbey), and Mackenna Degnegaard. Two great grandchildren Jack and Jett Degnegaard. Older brother Michael (Glenda) Weglowski.
Joe (Joe-E) worked as an electrician for 47 years and retired from the University of Chicago. He loved telling stories and sitting on the porch after dinner enjoying the sunset.
A celebration of life will be held on a later date.
