Barbara Ann Zeiters, 89, of Valparaiso formerly of Kouts passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Northwest Health Porter. She was born on December 18, 1935, in Kouts, Indiana to Jay & Hazel (Cooper) Tabler. Barbara enjoyed gardening and watching the birds in her yard. Watching professional football and baseball games on television was also a passion of hers. She enjoyed seeing her grandchildren, cooking and baking for her family and friends.
On October 17, 1953, she married Delmar L. Zeiters who preceded her in death in 1999. Survivors include their children: Jaye Lynne Douglass of Valparaiso, Candy Young (Walt Johnson) of Lake Station, Matthew (Deena) Zeiters of Valparaiso & Richard (Sandy) Zeiters of Kansas City, siblings: Jack Tabler, Bill Tabler & Cheryl Lang, grandchildren: Billy Blodgett, Heather (Tom) Burgoon, Daphne (Phil) Williamson, Cory Young, Christian Young, Cali Young & Ireland Zeiters, and great-grandchildren: Joshua, Jayla & Josiah. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Zeiters, grandchildren, Josh Douglass & Kassandra Blodgett, and siblings: Dick, Gene, Jim, Rex & Margie.
Following cremation at Angelcrest Crematory a private burial of ashes will take place at Graceland Cemetery, Kouts.
