Janice Marie Hughes, 50, of Hanna passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Northwest Health Porter. She was born September 12, 1974, in Valparaiso to Ernest & Maria (Minarik) Hughes and graduated from South Central High School.
Survivors include her siblings: Robert (Lisa) Hughes, Anne (Matt) Taylor, Maria Hughes, Chuck (Tracy) Hughes, Alice Good & Dan (Stephanie) Hughes, numerous loving nieces & nephews whom Janice absolutely adored, and her best friend, Amy Ross. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Brian Hughes.
A private family ceremony to celebrate Janice’s life will be announced at a later date.
