Joyce Marie Collins, 78 of Valparaiso, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2025. She was born May 24, 1947 in Valparaiso to the late, Sterling and Madolin (Petermen) Fry. Joyce worked for 19 years at Orville Redenbacher’s and was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.
On December 10, 1982, Joyce married Rolan Collins, Sr., who preceded her in death in 2004. She is survived by her children, Scott (Jaclynn) Collins of Valparaiso, Teresa (Jerome) Weiler of Valparaiso, Billy Carpenter of Wanatah, Rolan (Tammie) Collins, Jr. of LaPorte; grandchildren, Laila, Jeffrey, Sophia, Joseph (Samantha), Sterling, Danielle, Rebecca (Bryan), Bryce (Cam), Isaiah, Dana (Doug), Brandie (Jolene), Shain (Sherri), Shelby, and Amber; great grandchildren, Isaiah and Daniel; and sister, Janice Mann. Joyce was also preceded in death by her sons, Jeffery, Tony, and Phillip Collins; brother, Bill Fry; and grandchildren, Gabrielle, Scott, Jr., Brandon, and Dustin.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 from 10:00-12:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, with a Funeral Service beginning at 12:00 PM and burial to follow at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the family.
