Nancy Jean Willard, 79, of Knox, Indiana passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at LaPorte Hospital. She was born November 30, 1945, in Saginaw, Michigan to Thomas & Lois (Laesch) Quinsey. Nancy made her career teaching computer classes at community colleges in Michigan and Indiana for many years. She enjoyed traveling with her husband James in younger years, was renowned as a collector within her close circle of friends, could spend hours meeting the challenge of a new computer game, and thrived on a diet of Pepsi and cigarettes despite professional advice to the contrary.
She married James Willard who preceded her death. Survivors include her companion Kenneth Michael Kovach, caregiver Dave Vandenberg, and friend Trish Sarkisian. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Thomas & Lois Quinsey and beloved aunts: Arlene Laesch & Evelyn Farley.
A private burial ceremony will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta Michigan.
