Pat, you have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Childhood, adolescence, college, marriage and now as I settle into "senior" life. I knew Pat as “Patti”. She was good friends with my brother Dave Boxley and my sister Sanna Boxley Harges and knew me by my nickname Kutee. I, being the younger sister by 14 years, often tagged along when they got together. I’m sure she and Dave had some fun when they both lived in Chicago! Along with our mom, we all attended and celebrated her and Larry’s wedding. Over the years, they frequently joined our family’s July 4th and New Year’s Day gatherings at Sanna’s lake home in Rome City IN. Eventually I was no longer the “little” sister and developed a friendship of my own with her. We talked a few times over the years and actually met for lunch in late 2024. I am so grateful we made that happen and I got to reminisce with her over pizza. Her generous heart found some precious pictures of Dave, Sanna, and her which she graciously passed on to me. I treasure them. Patti will always be one of the Chicago gang in my heart. With her passing went a lot of love and memories. Her smile, zest for life, and happy energy is what I will remember. Rest peacefully, my friend. My deepest condolences for your loss of a wonderful woman. -Bea Boxley
