Peter Nicholas Krzanowsky - Lakewood, CO formerly of Valparaiso
With profound sadness, we share the passing of Peter Nicholas Krzanowsky, on November 23, 2025, who left this world far too soon at the age of 47. His life, though cut heartbreakingly short, was filled with love, laughter, and a heart that touched everyone fortunate enough to know him.
He was adored deeply and is survived by his parents, Nick and Chris, who cherished him beyond measure; his beloved sister, Stacey, who was always his big sister with unwavering love and her husband, Jon; his niece; Emma, and nephew Noah; both who held him close in both pride and love; his Aunts and uncle; Diane, Terri (Pat), Tony (Lucie) and Mike, cousins; Jamie (Ted) and Kori, friends, Carl (Karen) and Adam: a friend who shared in their Colorado adventures.
Pete had a way of making people feel important and appreciated. Whether through charm, or his gentle manner, or by bringing joy into every room he entered. He gave generously, loved fiercely, and lived with a beautiful openness that inspired those around him.
His legacy is one of compassion, resilience, and a love that will remain in the hearts of his family and friends. His love for the mountains was supported by his yearly calendars. Though his time here was far too brief, his impact will remain forever — woven into the memories he created and the lives he shaped.
Private Family Services were held with interment at St. Paul Catholic Cemetery, Valparaiso.
May his memory be a blessing, and may those who loved him find comfort in knowing how deeply he felt their love and how he profoundly appreciated them.
