Frank Polaski, 93 of Valparaiso, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2026. He was born December 16, 1932. Frank graduated from Bishop Noll High School, and proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War era. Frank made his career as an Electrician with Inland Steel until his retirement. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Valparaiso, where he had enjoyed serving with the prison ministry for many years. Frank loved his annual trips to Wisconsin with family and friends to spend time outdoors and go fishing. He will be remembered for his sweet and sincere disposition and the deep love he had for his family. Frank will be dearly missed.

On February 7, 1953, Frank married Eleanor Sappan, who preceded him in death in 2022. He is survived by their daughter, Cathy (Bob) Kepshire of Evans, GA; son, Frank (JoAnne) Polaski, Jr. of West End, NC; son-in-law, Scott Bibler of Kouts, IN; grandchildren: Erik, Amanda, Megan, Nathan, Aaron, Lauren, Allison, and David; great-grandchildren: Mia, Brenan, Luke, Vivian, Peter, Aria, Mason, Colton, and Emmitt. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jill Bibler; sister, Jeannette Idziak; and parents, Fred and Regina.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, with a prayer service beginning at 4:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. directly at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 509 W. Division Rd., Valparaiso, with Father Mick Kopil officiating and burial to follow at St. Paul Catholic Cemetery, Valparaiso. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice, 402 Wall St., Suite 12, Valparaiso, IN 46383.
