Bonnie L. Broviak, 67, of Lake of the Four Seasons, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026. She was born May 4, 1958, to Elvin H. & Marilyn L. (Tebo) Schultz and graduated from Boone Grove High School in 1976. Bonnie made her career as an Administrative Secretary to the Legal Counsel for St. Anthony’s Hospital, Crown Point.
Her devotion, passion & unparalleled love for her family will be the memories carried forward by all who shared in her life. Affectionately known as Mee Maw by her grandchildren, Bonnie’s warm, kind & loving nature defined her life. Her passions included cooking, gardening, teaching Sunday school and helping prepare the Golden Agers dinners at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
On October 13, 1979 she married Tim Broviak who survives along with their sons: Joshua (Alexandrea) Broviak of Merrillville & Aaron (Jaclyn) Broviak of Dyer, grandchildren: Wyatt & Veda Broviak, sisters: Lori (Timothy) Cisney of South Bend, Joann Schultz of Valparaiso & Paula (Jeffrey) Ruge of Aurora, IL, and her beloved dog, “Libby”. She was preceded in death by her parents and infant twin sisters, Mary & Marie.
A visitation will be held Thursday, February 12th from 9:30 – 11:00 am at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 234 W. Division Rd., Valparaiso with funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM, Rev. William Foy officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Prince of Peace Altar Fund.

My condolences to the Broviak family. I fondly remember working with Bonnie at St. Amthony Crown Point for many different needs as a case manager. She always had a smile for everyone. I also remember that her son was in the St. Anthony preschool with my daughter, so we became close through St. Anthony's. I will miss your kind spirit, Bonnie. -Michelle Jubera
