Brenda Christine Carter, 54 of Valparaiso, IN, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026, following a courageous 20-year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was born April 12, 1971, in Valparaiso to Ronald and Judy (Tabler) Carter. Brenda enjoyed going to concerts, spending time outside in the summer, and taking camping trips. Her favorite meal was macaroni and cheese, and she was overjoyed when her daughter surprised her with some. Brenda was a sweet lady who cared for everyone around her. She will be remembered as a loving mother, who will be dearly missed.
Brenda is survived by her daughter, Katie Blake of Valparaiso; father, Ronald Carter; former companion, Larry Blake; and a grandson on the way, Asher Blake. She was preceded in death by her mother, Judy Carter.
To honor Brenda’s wishes, following cremation no services will be held at this time. Memorial donations may be made in Brenda’s name to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
