Phyllis C. (Holforty) Zandi, 97 of Lakewood Ranch, FL, formerly of Valparaiso, entered into her eternal rest on March 20th, 2026. She was born in Heyworth, IL, on August 26, 1928, graduated from Bloomington (IL) High School and attended Illinois Wesleyan University where she met her husband, Donald, who predeceased her in 2011.
Phyllis is survived by her sons, Robert (Linda), Kenosha, WI, & David (Lorie), Lakewood Ranch, FL, 5 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
Phyllis was a homemaker, an active member for decades at Valparaiso Methodist Church, PEO Sisterhood & Sigma Kappa Sorority in college. We are grateful for and will miss her kind heart, humor, devotion to her family & the steadfast faith she lived each and every day of her life.
A private burial for immediate family will be held at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso.
