Revona Elizabeth Julian born April 19, 1936 of Valparaiso passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026 while surrounded by her family.  She is survived by her daughters, Deborah (Clyde) Greiner and Jennifer (Kevin) Keating; grandsons, Nicholas (Kimberly) Greiner, Zachary (Eileen) Greiner, and Maxwell Keating.  She also had four great grandchildren: Liliana, Emma, Leo, and Helen. A sister, Emmalene (Gary) Arnold.  Her husband, Robert Julian, son, Steven Julian, and sister, Mary L. Chandler preceded her in death.

Revona was born in Indianapolis and grew up in Greenfield, Indiana.  She went to Earlham College and graduated from the Reid Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in August 1957.  She was a nurse in labor and delivery for over 40 years.  Serving the public in Texas and California before settling down in Valparaiso.  Working at both Porter Memorial in Valparaiso and St. Anthony’s Hospital in Crown Point.  After retiring from nursing, she continued a new career at Target again serving the public for 12 years.  Always smiling and caring for everyone wherever she was working.

Revona married Robert Julian on June 14, 1958 at Christ Episcopal Church in Gary, Indiana.  After living in various states, they settled in Valparaiso.  They were together for 58 years raising their family.

Revona’s kindness and thoughtfulness toward all she met will always be remembered.  Always saying a kind word or expressing gratitude towards those that helped take care of her.  We will always remember her out doing her yard work and taking care of her grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, with the Northwest Indiana Nurse Honor Guard Service at 11:45 AM and a Funeral Service beginning at 12:00 PM.  Burial will follow at Angelcrest Cemetery, Valparaiso.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Valparaiso.
