Dennis Jack Smith, 66 of Michigan City, passed away Monday, August 29, 2022. He was born November 6, 1955 in Hammond to the late Erskine R. and Pauline (Robins) Smith. Jack was a gifted musician playing drums and guitar. He was able to see the country while playing music for all to enjoy. Jack enjoyed landscaping, fishing, and was known to be a bit of a lady’s man.
Jack is survived by his nieces and nephews, James Smith, Cindy (Jim) Langel, Crystal Smith, Angie Stevens, and Lorraen Fultz; his nurse and caregiver, Naunie; siblings, Jane Reed, Sherry Wahling, and Mike Smith; and many friends and extended family.
Following cremation at Angelcrest Crematory, a Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.
