Kathryn Theresa (Cassidy) Majoch Garcia was born on February 1, 1955 to her parents, Darrell P. Cassidy and Catherine D. (Clark) Cassidy in Chicago, Illinois. Kathryn met Chester Majoch and they married on November 3, 1973. From this union they had five children. After the death of her husband, Chester, Kathryn was remarried on June 19, 2010 to Pete Garcia.
Kathryn loved spending time with her family and her pets. She enjoyed doing crafts, sewing, baking, cooking, and decorating for the holidays.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Majoch; husband, Chester Majoch; sisters, Joan McMurray and Rose Herbig-Cervantes; and her parents, Darrell and Catherine Cassidy.
Kathryn is survived by her husband, Pete Garcia; daughter, Gayle (Ron); sons, Michael (Carol), Lawrence (Malinda), and Steven (Vicki). She also leaves behind grandchildren: Robert, Brandon, Alexandra, Shawn, Jaydin, Chase, Jenna, Alessa, Wyatte, Salem, and Cheyanne; great-grandchildren, Oliver and Amalia; and her brothers, Darrell and Ralph.
Kathryn will be remembered as a loving, accepting, and generous mother. Her family and friends will keep her memory alive through stories of her kindness and love.
A visitation will be held on April 14, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Road, Valparaiso, IN, with a memorial service beginning at 5:00 p.m.
