Alvin Musial, 91 of Valparaiso, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026.  He was born on February 8, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Stephen and Marian (Jachna) Musial.  A Veteran of the U.S. Army, Al made his career as a bricklayer, working through the Bricklayers Union of Chicago.  He took pride in being a master bricklayer and was very meticulous in all his work.  Al was kind and generous and was a true gentleman.  He was an avid golfer and even manufactured his own clubs.

Alvin was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Maralene E. Musial in 1998; brother, Edwin (Louise) Musial; and sister, Dorothy (Harry) Tobin.   He is survived by many nieces and nephews and his lifelong friends, Max Ghezzi and Kent Hill.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 801 Michigan City Rd., Calumet City, Illinois.
