Andrew R. Emerick, 42 of Valparaiso, passed away suddenly on July 28, 2025. He was born on December 4, 1982 in Valparaiso, the son of Dennis and Diane (Ungurait) Emerick. A 2001 graduate of Washington Twp. High School, Andrew was currently studying at Ivy Tech to be a surgery technician. He enjoyed riding his scooter and was a big Pittsburgh Penguins, Steelers, and Notre Dame fan. Andrew was an avid gamer and loved to play online with his children.
On August 8, 2010, Andrew married Sally Todd who survives along with their children, Rivka and Evgeni Emerick; parents, Dennis and Diane Emerick; brother, Daniel Emerick; niece, Emma Emerick; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, with a Funeral Service beginning at 1:00 PM and burial to follow at Angelcrest Cemetery, Valparaiso. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
