Beverly Lorraine Wiegand, age 83, of Valparaiso, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023. She was born on May 20, 1939, in Wheatfield, IN to the late William and Della (Snow) Ferrell. Beverly retired in 2001 as a Nurse’s Aide after 21 years of service. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Beverly loved spending time with her family, especially her sister and grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. She also loved making people laugh and helping others. Beverly will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.
On September 18, 1960, at the Wheatfield Church of Christ, Beverly married the love of her life, Robert Wiegand. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Jim) Bernth of Parrish, FL; grandchildren: Donja Johnson, Shaina (Mike) Cantrell, Jaimie Bernth, Grace (Griffin) Trautweiler, Moriah, Caleb, and Joshalyn Bernth; great grandson, Carter Cantrell; beloved sister, Mary Wiegand; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wiegand; parents, William and Della Ferrell; brothers, James, twin brother, William (Billy), Chester, Lester; and granddaughter, Bethany Bernth.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Road, Valparaiso, IN, with a funeral service beginning at 6:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Denny Smith. Entombment will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Graceland Cemetery.
