Bobby R. Poole, 84, of Hebron passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 13, 2025. He was born May 28, 1940, in Owensboro, KY to Chester & Wilma (nee Rogers) Poole. Bobby served proudly with the U.S. Army before beginning his career with Youngstown Sheet & Tube serving as a Motor Inspector and retiring as a Supervisor with LTV Steel. In retirement he chose to drive a school bus for 10 years with the Hebron Schools. His youthful bus passengers probably enjoyed Bobby’s joking nature as did nearly everyone else who crossed paths with him. Giving people something to smile and laugh about gave his life purpose and defined his character.
In October of 1966 he married Alice Hennings who survives along with their children: Jake Poole of Kouts, Jennifer Sauceda of Hebron & Jordan Poole of Hebron, sister, Debbie Poole and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Glen Poole in 2023.
Following cremation at Angelcrest Crematory a private family celebration of Bobby’s life will be held.
