Bonnie Mae Vitoux, 87 of Valparaiso, passed away Monday, April 7, 2025. She was born April 20, 1937 in Maxville, Kentucky to Marvin Earl and Pearl Mae (Voorhris) Ward. Bonnie attended Valparaiso Baptist Church and enjoyed tending to her flowers, gardening, and caring for her family and home.
In 1953 in Porter County, Bonnie married her beloved husband, Virgil Glen Vitoux who preceded her in death in 2014. She is survived by her children, Linda (Rod) Cornett, Richard Vitoux, and Kevin Vitoux; 2 granddaughters, Heather (Randy) Carter and Amy (Mike) Gross; 3 great grandchildren, Jacob, Wyatt, and Kaylee; sister, Joyce Harris; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bonnie was also preceded in death by her parents and seven brothers.
In accordance with Bonnie’s wishes, private family services were held with cremation at Angelcrest Crematory.
