Carol J. (Ingman) Walsh, 89 of Valparaiso, IN, went to join the angels in Heaven on Sunday, October 15, 2023. She was born December 27, 1933, in Chillicothe, MO to Russell and Grace (Darr) Ingman. Carol was an active member of St. Paul Catholic Church, where she had been involved in the Alter Rosary, Oasis, and Birth Rite. Carol was lovingly devoted to her family for her entire life, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In 1955, Carol married the love of her life, James M. Walsh, who preceded her in death in 2019. She is survived by their daughters and sons: Beth (Costa) Olympidis, Margo (Mark Gregory) Peuquet, Laura (Gregory) Mayhew, Mary Jo (Kevin) Kleemann, Glenda Walsh, and Michael Walsh; 15 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughter, Julie Marie Errichiello; son, James P. Walsh; parents; and brother, Mickey Ingman.
A visitation will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Road, Valparaiso, with a memorial service beginning at 12:00 p.m. Burial of ashes will follow at St. Paul Catholic Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the VNA Hospice of NWI.
