Carrie C. Mann, 57 of Wanatah, passed away peacefully Friday, June 30, 2023. She was born January 19, 1966 in Valparaiso to the late Ovid and Patricia (Sikora) Hunsley. A 1984 graduate of LaCrosse High School, Carrie enjoyed working for many years as a secretary at Tri-Township Schools. Carrie thought of her co-workers as her second family. She was a member of Grace Chapel Church, Valparaiso and enjoyed flower gardening, picking blueberries, sewing, styling hair, trips to Minnesota, and most of all Carrie loved spending time with family.
On May 21, 1988, Carrie married Ronald Mann who survives along with their children, Justin (Ivy) Mann and Jessica Mann; brothers, Mark (Julie) Hunsley and Eric (Pamela) Hunsley; sister-in-law, Bonnie Mann; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 3:00-7:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, with a Funeral Service on Thursday, July 6th at 10:30 AM at Grace Chapel Church 157 Lafayette St., Valparaiso. Burial will follow at Hanna Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or Grace Chapel Church.
