Christopher Lee Lindzy, 48 of Valparaiso, IN formerly of Elkhart passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022.   He was born July 8, 1974 in Mishawaka to become the son of James C. & Cheryl L. (Abbiehl) Lindzy and graduated from Elkhart Central High School in 1992. Christopher had owned and operated a landscaping business in South Bend and was currently serving as a Sales Representative for Southlake Kia & Nissan in Merrillville.  His passion for Notre Dame football was instilled in him at an early age by his father. He also enjoyed many other sports, especially if they allowed him an excuse to fire up the grill, showcase his hospitality skills, and begin barbequing outdoors.
On September 4, 2020 he married Jessica (Bolde) Bailey who survives along with his children; Kyle L Lindzy of Las Vegas, NV, Zachary J. (Heide) Lindzy of Wheatfield, Kyleigh Lindzy of Mishawaka & Christopher J. Lindzy of LaPorte, his father, James C. (Tomme) Lindzy of South Bend, brother, David A. Lindzy, sister, ReAnna L. (Jorge) Salazar, mother-in-law, Karen (Richard) Koelemeyer of Valparaiso, father-in-law, Thomas (Lisa) Bolde, Jr. of Valparaiso, grandchildren, Jaxon Carpenter, Ronan & Jenson Lindzy, sister-in-law, Heather Bolde, brother-in-law, Thomas J. (Tina) Bolde, step-children, Bryce & Emma Bailey, and many loving nieces, nephews & friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl L. Wilson, brother, Travis R. Tyson, grandparents, Leroy & Geneva Abbiehl, uncle, Thomas Lindzy, cousin, Amanda Abbiehl, and Lori S. Lindzy. 
A visitation will be held Sunday from 1-3 pm CDT at Moeller Funeral Home, Valparaiso with funeral service beginning at 3:00 pm CDT and cremation to follow. Memorial donations may be made to Riley Children’s HospitalAs a tribute to Christopher, please wear your Notre Dame clothing to the visitation and funeral service.

Dave, Amber, Jeremy and Josh…. Want to comfort Chris’s family and friends…..along with Jessica’s family and friends…. In this very sad time. Chris was one of a kind…. He loved his family…and his friends….he was the best neighbor anyone would wish for! There was never a day that he didn’t say hello and ask how we were when he would come home from work! Dave and him would swap tools Soo he could make an absolutely gorgeous…backyard for his family! He was very much loved by all of us and is very much missed Jessica, Bryce and Emma…. We will ALWAYS BE HERE FOR ALL OF YOU ANYTIME! Just put us to work…. And we will try our best to be as talented as Chris with keeping up the landscaping and anything else he took care of ok….
