Christopher Michael Cross, 63 of Valparaiso, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025. He was born May 21, 1962, in Valparaiso and graduated from Valparaiso High School in 1980. Christopher made his career as a truck driver currently serving with AIM Transportation Solutions. He was a member of Valparaiso Nazarene Church. Christopher enjoyed woodcarving, watching “Dr. Who”, artistic painting, and helping family & friends with home remodeling projects, which even included electrical.
On October 28, 1982, he married Beverly J. McDaniels who survives along with their children: Tiffany Cross & Ash Cross both of Valparaiso, his mother, Irene Fritch of Valparaiso, grandson, Theodore Cross, siblings: Paul (Leslie) Cross of Texas, Jim (Kathy) Cross of Valparaiso, Tom (Vicki) Cross of Florida, Joe (Margery) Cross of Kentucky, and his brothers & sisters-in-law Dennis McDaniels, Marvin (Juli) McDaniels, Barb Kuder all of Valparaiso, Donna Tuggle of Texas, Wayne McDaniels of Florida & Eugene (Teresa) McDaniels of Texas. He was preceded in death by his father & mother-in-law, Eugene & Shirley McDaniels.
A visitation will be held Thursday, June 5th from 3 – 5 pm at Moeller Funeral Home, Valparaiso with memorial service beginning at 5:00 pm, Pastor Shawn Evans officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family via: Memorial for a Beloved Husband, Dad and Grandpa
