Claudia Dawn Coros, 66, of Valparaiso, Indiana passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023. She was born October 15, 1956, in Gary, Indiana to Alfred & Betty (Bohn) Schneider and graduated from Wirt High School in 1974. Claudia made her career as a Dental Assistant at Westville Correctional Facility for nearly 40 years. She wasn’t a connoisseur of fine coffee, but she could have been considering her years and quantities of consumption. To find her lounging in front of a favorite television show with her canine companion Abby was to find her in her happy place. Above anything else she loved her grandchildren with all her heart.
Survivors include her children; Lauren (Kyle) Widbin of Greenwood, Indiana, Kevin (Christina) Coros of Valparaiso, Indiana, sisters; Lynn (Richard) Bochart of Lowell, Indiana, Peggy (Derry) Sollors of Palatine, Illinois, grandchildren; Zachary, Lucas & Sadie Widbin, Cali & Kai Coros, and many loving nieces, nephews & friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of Claudia’s life will be held for family and close friends in the near future.
