I've been very fortunate to know Craig since joining the Valpo City Golf League in 2014. I really enjoyed the opportunity to spend time with him on the golf course and will miss him greatly. May the blessings of God descend upon Craig and his family. Sincerely, -Mike O'Connor
I still remember the first time PaPa Moo sang to me and Jimbo in the Times building as we were still bagging papers. He would sing a moo moo moo and a bad baa baa and repeat until I was smiling from ear to ear. Craig was such a sweet wonderful man and his Wife and family were pretty awesome too! I am so very sorry to you and your families loss. PaPa Moo as I called him, I will miss him deeply! I am sorry I can not make the service but I just got Covid and Bronchitis and a Sinus infection and do not want to get anyone sick. Love Missy Moo and Jimbo - Melissa Jarnecke
I played with Craig in the City golf league for over 20 years. Despite going through hard times, he was always smiling and had a great sense of humor. He loved to have a conversation with me while I was putting, and maybe that is why he always won because my putting was terrible. I will miss him. -Michael Langer
I was very sad to see of Craig's passing. I was reading Wednesday's Times this morning when I saw the obituary. I got to know Craig in the Midwest Steel golf league where he beat me on a regular basis. He used to golf barefoot, which I always found interesting. We also would see each other at some of the SNE social functions. I will miss Craigs quirky personality although I didn't see much of him in recent years. I would have been at the services today without hesitation but I have to take my wife to an appointment at the U of C for her lung function. I also know Aly from being a regular at Figure 8 brewing when she worked there although I had no idea at the time she was Craig's daughter. I saw her again at Peddlers where I found out Craig was her dad. My brother Rick is friends with Bruce and would be at the services but he lives in Olympia, Washington. I sent him a copy of the obituary. Our thoughts are with your family. -Ron Knight
