Cynthia “Cindy” Ann Kleist (maiden Gray) born March 27, 1955 in Princeton, KY. Survived by husband, LeRoy “Lee”, daughter Nicole Richards (Taylor), grandsons Adam, Joshua and Zachary Richards, sister Lisa Cannon (Danny), brother-in-law Larry Kleist (Beth), Garry Kleist (Bonnie), Cathy Cain (Bobby), numerous nieces and nephews, beloved friend and caregiver, Elizabeth Evans. Preceded in death by parents, Jack and Ann Gray.
Cindy was a loving wife, mother, sister and aunt. She accepted Jesus as her Savior at a very young age. She graduated from Hobart High School and Indiana University majoring in Dental Hygiene and was a licensed dental hygienist until her daughter Nicole was born and she retired to be a full-time mother and home school her daughter from Kindergarten through high school. Cindy was a long-time Shaklee Director, a master seamstress, and had recently developed a love for quilting.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 beginning at 11:00 AM at Liberty Bible Church, 1155 S. Sturdy Rd., Valparaiso with additional visitation an hour before service. Memorial donations may be made to the Kleist family.
