Debra Lynn Wallace, 65 of Valparaiso and formerly of Mesa, Arizona, passed away Monday, February 17, 2025. She was born April 28, 1959 in Valparaiso, the daughter of the late Charles R. and Janet C. (Richman) Wallace. A graduate of LaPorte High School, Debra was currently working at Opportunity Enterprises. She participated in the Special Olympics and won medals in swimming. Debra enjoyed coloring and loved gardening. Her smile and love of life will be greatly missed.
Debra is survived by her brother, Glenn (Kathy) Wallace; sister, Patty Morgan; nieces and nephews, Benjamin, Cassie, Crystal, and Matthew; great nieces and nephews, Brock, Brogan, Gavin, Natalie, Megan, Alexxis, Zoey, Isabella, and Salem; and her stepmother, Doris Wallace.
Following cremation at Angelcrest Crematory, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salem United Church of Christ Bell Choir 302 S. Main St., P.O. Box 205, Wanatah, IN 46390.
