Dennis E. Kucinski, 77 of Valparaiso, passed away Friday, March 31, 2023.  He was born March 25, 1946 in Chicago, IL to the late Edward and Frances (Kendzior) Kucinski.  A 1964 graduate of Valparaiso High School and a 1967 graduate of Valparaiso Tech, Dennis worked in technical services at Western Union for 20 years before starting the family business of Kucinski Enterprises.  He was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Kouts.
On April 22, 1967, Dennis married Diane Reinhardt who survives along with their son, Brian (Deanna) Kucinski; grandchildren, Richard and Amanda Newton; great grandchildren; Emmett, Cayden, Nora, and Evelyn; brother, Paul (Pam) Kucinski; niece, Kelly Jacobs; and nephew, Matt Kucinski.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 3:00-7:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso with a Funeral Service on Thursday at 1:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Kouts 195 E. 700 S., Kouts.  Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the First Presbyterian Church of Kouts or the donor’s home church.

Denny has been Fred’s long time friend since elementary school at Saint Pauls.I have been his friend for 57 years, I met him after I married Fred at the same time I met his wife Diane . We spent many dinners, celebrated many occasions together, went on vacations together. Denny was a gentle soul as well as a man, he was always there to help anyone anytime. He was a master of everything. How do you say goodbye to a good friend ? We won’t we will say aloha until we meet again on our final vacation in heaven with you our friend . To you Diane “ you and Denny had a love like no other, we pray for your broken heart to be mended , you will be together again. Brian you were a rock for your Dad and Mom throughout this journey .
