Donna M. Robinson, 56, of Lowell passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May31, 2025. She was born November 3, 1968, in New Albany, NY, graduated from Lowell High School in 1986, and received an associate’s degree from Robert Morris College where she trained in medical studies. Donna made her career as a Medical Assistant with Retina & Associates in Munster, and teaching at Three Creeks Elementary School. Her true passion came to fruition 8 years ago when she co-founded Famous Athletics in Valparaiso to develop young talent in a nurturing and supportive environment. Donna’s specialty at Famous Athletics was making sure that no child went without. She also loved attending local demolition derbies to cheer on the family’s “Green Machine Team”.
On February 4, 1989, she married George Robinson who survives along with their children: Michael (Taylor) Robinson of Lowell & Brittany (Tim) Edmonds of Valparaiso, brothers: Steven (Ozlem) Petrucci & Matthew (Crystal) Bond, her beloved granddaughters: Kendall & Kinsley Edmonds, and the most current of her canine clan, French Bulldogs, “Honey” & “Nova”. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joan Bond and her grandmother, Gloria Scutter.
A committal ceremony will be held Directly at Graceland Cemetery, 1505 Morthland Dr., Valparaiso on Wednesday beginning at 2:00 pm. A celebration of Donna’s life will also be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Donna’s Dollars through Famous Athletics to provide scholarship funding for those in need.
