Doris Dee Armentrout, 79 of Chesterton, IN, formerly of Grove City, OH, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 12, 2023. She was born May 31, 1944, in Columbus, OH to Edward and Lorraine (Johnson) Kepp. Doris graduated from Grove City High School, and was a devoted mother and homemaker. Eventually, she worked with Techniglass, manufacturing parts for televisions, and later as a Greeter at Walmart. Doris enjoyed watching movies, loved spending time with her grandsons, and looked forward to holidays with her extended family, the Laws of Grove City. She will be remembered as a loving mother, and “Grandma D” to her beloved grandsons. Doris will be dearly missed.
Doris is survived by her children: Jeffrey (Penelope) Armentrout of IN, and Kelly (Rick) Jackson of FL; grandsons: Jacob and Willem Armentrout, and Christopher, Connor, and Craig Jackson; and brothers, Cecil and Mike Kepp. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Tim Kepp.
Following cremation, a private family service will be held.
